Well, I'm not 5 either but I don't understand what difference the faster RAM will make if there is the same amount of it. I know that they PS4 will have faster RAM, (unless MS changes the specs to be different from the rumors) but I'm not a computer guy. Could someone who knows more tell me....
1) what difference will the extra RAM make?
2) what difference will having the CPU and the GPU on the same die with equal access to the RAM (I think that was wha...
What do you mean "if"? You know they will. Everybody knows they will, especially everybody hardcore enough to follow E3.
I and a friend of mine have been trying to figure out the strategy behind Sony's early announcement. We both think that Sony has something up their sleeve to show at E3 and generate even more buzz but we can't think of what that could be. That could compete with a console unveiling.
I've have every Playstation except the Vita, and both Xboxes. When I first heard this idea of "internet connection required" I said I WOULD NOT BUY any console that did that.
You can call it common sense, but it may have been the fear of God put into them by the gamers, like myself and others.
BECAUSE I WASN'T BLUFFING.
I suspect a good many of the other people who said the same thing were not bluffing either.

This was a PS4 event so Versus talk would have been out of place there unless it was going to be released on the PS4.
The problem is the PS3's price, which is the same problem that the PS3 has had throughout its entire lifecycle.
If the PS3 was $100 like the the PS2 was when the the PS3 released then BC wouldn't be that big of a deal. $100 is cheap enough for most people to buy one on impulse. Even teenager with a job only needed a few weeks of saving and he could just buy a new one. But the PS3 is still $300, seven years later, at $300 buying a PS3 is still a major purchase tha...
@evilhasitsway
Backwards compatibility only matters at the beginning of the life cycle of the new console. When consoles first release there are not enough new games on the new console to cover all the genres. So people have to rely on old games.
Looks aren't everything. At first glance it looks like the handles are a bit too flat, more like the 360 controller than like the Dual-Shock 3. But I need to see more to be certain.
But how it looks is meaningless to me. It has to feel right and give me control over my character in the game.
I will withhold judgement until I actually feel it in my hands.
3 reasons why Raiden is just as badass as Solid Snake.
1) You are smoking crack.
2) You are taking crystal meth.
3) You are shooting heroine.
Cgoodno is wrong and Duckieoro is right about this one. It's not going away.
People who never spend anytime with different types of people are free to believe whatever bad information they want about those different people. They never have their beliefs tested by exposure.
The anonymity of the internet just gives them the freedom to say, without fear of punishment, what they really believe.
Personally I like that their is a place wh...
How do you watch it directly from Sony?
Everyone who wanted to chat on a PS3 already could. I prefer a Blu-tooth headset a wired mic & headseat. But if it doesn hurt why not.
I think the D-pad buttons are a bit too close together.
The Dual-Shock wasn't broken. That's why people revolted when they talked about changing it in the run-up to the PS3 release. The new controller should be as close to that as they can get it while adding whatever new functionality fits their plan.
Another result in support of my hypothesis that 90% of female attractiveness is weight control. The rest is mostly in trying, just trying, to be presentable.
This girl is doesn't strike me as hot enough to be a big-time model or actress, neither in the East nor in the West.
She is average compared to all women who take pictures for a living. I'm talking about magazines (other than Playboy, she's wayyy too unattractive for Playboy), low budget T...
Actually a better moment is the first time I saw the Uncharted 2 trailer at E3. I'm talking about the trailer where the helicopter chases Drake and Chloe and the building you are in (i.e. the entire level) collapses beneath your feet. That is the first time I can recall seeing anything like that happening in a game.
When the game actually got here it validated the trailer every bit.
Your second post is all wrong as well.
The second-hand market helps gaming by increasing the total number of dollars that go into the market. For example consider two scenarios.
Say that I want 3 games labeled, A, B, & C, that cost $60 each, but I only have $150.
Also say that another person wants game A and yet another person wants game B, but each person only has $30.
If there is no used game market then I will buy 2 game...
They can be for it because they don't study business, finance, or markets. They don't know what they are talking about, they just think they do.
You said this move would drastically affect a game's trade in value. It would completely eliminate it's trade in value. I think you meant to say it's VALUE BRAND NEW.
Used markets add value to an item. When people know that they can't sell an item once they use it, they offer less for it B...
You wouldn't be buying used 360 games would you? A lot of people still have the old 360's that scratch the discs. The used PS3 games I have bought are never scratched.
NONE of what you said is correct.
The people always have a choice.
Game developers do benefit from the existence of a used game market, because used games bring money into the game market that otherwise would not be spent on games.
If Gamestop didn't make a market for used games the game market would immediately replace them with someone else.
Because specialty shops stock a few of the smaller budget, more exotic g...
Where are these $199 - $219 PS3's that the guy in the video is talking about? When I went to Amazon I didn't find anything close to that price.
A year ago??? Try 6 months ago.
Co-sign.
I want to turn all the crap off as well.
